Brandi wrote back. Key statement is: "I have gotten some information from our computer programmers and they have advised that the option for the computer database access is not available. This is after checking with the Municipal Court prosecutor who advised that the confidentiality of juveniles and open cases could cause a problem. The only way that they are telling me that, we can get you the information is by creating the computer program, which is the information that I have sent you before. Please let me know as soon as possible as we would like to get this situation taken care of." |

Brandi Hodges called from 972-230-9674. She reviewed with a programmer and indicated the data export time may be so minimal that the open records costs will be minimal or zero. The programmer's vacation schedule prevents the request from being fulfilled for 2 weeks, but I indicated that is not a problem. I asked if she can provide a written estimate for grant purposes, and she said she will check with her supervisor Veronica Chasten. |
