Turns out that Lewisville only has a tiny sliver(s?) in Dallas County. Given the challenge of dealing with uncooperative jurisdictions, I am dropping this city from my research.

Kathy responded, saying that they have no report that has all the information I requested. However, Lewisville has requested their court records management system vendor provide a program that will include the remaining information. She will let me know once she hears back from them.

Kathy provided data, but it is missing these fields:

  • If speeding violation, speed limit and alleged speed.
  • Defendant’s race and sex.
  • Defendant’s vehicle information.
  • Defendant’s city, state, and ZIP.
  • Time of citation.
  • Citation disposition (e.g., guilty, innocent, nolo contendere, went to appeals court, deferred disposition, defensive driving)
  • Date of disposition.

Asked her to investigate feasibility of providing this data.

Your request was forwarded to our office. I wanted to let you know that we are working with the municipal court to try and get some type of report generated, but have encountered a few computer problems.

Hopefully we will have these worked in the next few days.
